Near Miss Programs & Reporting

This training discusses near miss programs & reporting systems – what are some of the essentials, and how to engage employees and management. One area of confusion is what exactly is a near miss and is it an “accident”, an “incident” or something else. The instructor will engage participants interactively in defining “near miss” for their company’s near miss reporting program; discuss how “accident vs incident” is used by safety and other professionals: and share methods to engage employers and employees in the near miss program.
